The Tritax Symmetry development sits in the south of Halsnead Garden Village. The park is being constructed on the site of the former Cronton Colliery, bringing a new lease of life into a site largely unused since the Colliery’s closure in 1984.

Tritax have completed phase one a 161,000 sq ft unit, occupied by Yodel on a 15 year lease. Works are well underway for phase two a 272,000 sq ft unit, expected to be ready for early 2025.

The multi-million-pound investment forms part of an overall development that will generate millions for the local economy annually. Once complete, Symmetry Park will provide around 1,000 new jobs.
